Keeping us Safe
Some of the key precautions we ask everyone to follow to keep everyone safe while at Wolfson College.
Please maintain social distance when in public indoor spaces
Wash your hands frequently, regularly and thoroughly with soap and running water for at least 20 seconds, or use alcohol-based hand-sanitiser (see here).
Wear a face-covering indoors in shared areas (except when eating or drinking in the Hall, Bar or café where special rules apply). This does not apply to those granted exemption: see here.
Watch this video where Professor Melinda Mills, Director of the Centre for Demographic Science, explains the effectiveness of different face mask types and coverings.
Please open windows and doors where possible to increase natural ventilation. Naturally-ventilated spaces are likely to be draughtier, so you might want consider bringing in more clothing as the weather gets colder. We appreciate that this is not the regular advice in relation to energy and sustainability. However, increased ventilation significantly reduces the risk of transmission, and we are grateful for your understanding as we return to a more normal life for all our community at the College.
